The second annual National Mentoring summit was held in Washington, D.C., January 24-25. Partners included; MENTOR, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the Harvard School of Public Health, the U.S. Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and United Way Worldwide. To bring together major youth mentoring organizations, along with government, civic, research and corporate leaders, to evaluate best practices, review new research, chart the field’s future and fundamentally ensure that more youth receive quality mentoring.
